Team play breaks coming to our preschool

Pumped to roll out two 10-minute team play breaks for our 3–5s starting Monday at 9:30 and 2:15, using cones, beanbags, and buddy relays to build coordination and teamwork. Anyone else seeing centers add structured movement blocks or getting new guidance on daily active minutes?

We’ve had good luck making “buddy relays” cooperative — set a cone course and have everyone try to beat the clock together, like a mini pit crew; it keeps the competition jitters down and still builds coordination. Our licensor pointed us to WHO’s guideline (180 min total for 3–4s with about 60 min energetic play): Guidelines on physical activity, sedentary behaviour and sleep for children under 5 years of age — are you tracking minutes daily or just using those two anchor blocks?

We use visual station cards and a 1-minute ‘reset’ breath before nap; CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/physicalactivity/basics/children/index.htm. How do you cue transitions?
