I’ve been exploring new methods for staff training at our center and I’m finding that hands-on workshops really improve engagement. For instance, we recently did a role-playing session on conflict resolution, which seemed to resonate well with the team. I’m interested to hear what strategies others have found effective in developing their staff.
I totally agree that hands-on workshops boost engagement — we recently tried interactive scenario-based training for communication skills, and it worked wonders. Even just a simple change of setting, like going outside for a session, can make a big difference too.
I’ve found that mixing up training formats can really keep things fresh. A game-like approach to skill-building can be as engaging as a role play — think of it like training for a sport instead of just studying the rulebook! Have you considered any gamified elements, @riley_moore23?
